The dashboard
What every figure on the home screen means, and why the owner and the collector see different things.
The dashboard is the first screen when you sign in. It does not show the same thing to everyone: each section only appears if it belongs to you. If you are a collector you see your own performance; if you are the owner you also see the business figures.
The figures update themselves: when someone registers a collection or moves cash, the dashboard refreshes without you reloading the page.
1. My performance: the section everyone sees
This is the only section with no permission or plan gate: it is always your numbers, never someone else's. The owner sees it too, and there they see what they themselves collected, not what the whole business collected.
Card | What it tells you |
|---|---|
Collected today | Everything YOU registered since midnight today |
Collected this month | The same, since the 1st of the month |
Active loans | The live loans assigned to you, and how much principal is still to recover |
Overdue | How many of those loans are past due, and the projected arrears as of today |
Services | Recurring contracts assigned to you, with their charges pending collection |
My shift | How much cash came in and went out through your hands in the open cash shift |
The two collection cards carry a breakdown that adds up exactly to the total:
- Principal: what reduces the client's debt.
- Interest: what you earn for lending.
- Arrears: the late-payment surcharge.
- Services: collected from recurring contracts (neither loan principal nor loan interest).
"Collected today" and "My shift" almost never match, and that is not a bug. "Today" is a calendar day; "the shift" is the open cash drawer, which may have been open for several days or opened yesterday. Also, if you reverse a collection, the drawer records the refund as an outflow instead of erasing the inflow.
If there is no open cash shift, the card says so: it does not show you a 0 that would look like you collected nothing.
2. Cash: permission required
It appears only if you have permission to see the cash statistics. These are whole-business figures, not yours:
- Cash balance: the cash the platform says should be there right now.
- Lent: how much principal has gone out in loans.
- Collected: how much has come in.
- Interest and Arrears: what was earned from each.
A collector without that permission does not see this section, and it is not that it shows up empty: it does not exist for them. Their money lives in "My performance".
3. Loans
Three quick counts across the whole business portfolio:
- Active: live loans.
- Overdue: loans whose next installment is past due.
- In arrears: the ones accruing late-payment charges.
4. Recent arrears
The 5 most recent cases in the arrears portfolio, with client and amount. It is your "who to call today" list. If the list is empty, that is good news: nobody is late.
FAQ
My dashboard is almost empty. Is it broken? No. Either you just started (create a client and a loan), or you are a collector without business permissions: your part is "My performance".
I collected and the number didn't go up. Refresh. If it still doesn't move, check that the payment was registered under your name: it is attributed to whoever registered the payment, not to whoever received the cash. If a colleague opened a partial payment and you completed it, that payment counts for them.
Are the arrears I see already collected? No. Projected arrears are what the client would owe today for being late; they are collected when a payment is applied. See the glossary.
