Client documents
Uploading the client’s ID, contract or photo: which formats, what size and how much space you have.
Every client record has a Files section. That is where you keep the photo of their ID, the signed contract, a payslip or any paper backing the loan. No more photo folders on your phone.
Uploading a file
Open the client's record and press Upload. Pick the file and that's it.
Rule | Value |
|---|---|
Accepted formats | JPG, PNG, WebP and PDF |
Maximum size per file | 10 MB |
Total space | Whatever your plan gives (see below) |
Photos are compressed before uploading, so an ID photo taken with a phone goes through fine and uses very little space.
The files you upload are not public. Every time you open the record, the platform generates a temporary download link that expires on its own. Nobody can hand someone else a permanent link to your client's ID.
Search and sort
With several files per client, the list can be searched by name and sorted by date or by size. Sorting by size is handy when you need to free up space fast: it shows the heaviest files first.
Deleting a file
Next to each file there is a delete button. Deleting frees the space immediately: if you ran out of quota, deleting what you don't need is the fast way to upload again.
How much space you have
Storage belongs to the plan: a single quota shared by every client on your account.
Plan | Storage |
|---|---|
Basic | 512 MB |
Gold | 2 GB |
Premium | 4 GB |
For scale: a compressed ID photo is a few hundred kilobytes, so 512 MB is enough for hundreds of documented clients. If you run short, upgrade or delete what you don't use. See Plans and billing.
Upload errors, in plain words
What you see | What happened | What to do |
|---|---|---|
Unsupported format | The file is not JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF | A .docx or a .heic won't go in. Convert it or take a screenshot. |
The file is empty | The file is 0 bytes | It got corrupted while copying. Get it from the original again. |
The file is too large | It exceeds 10 MB | Lower the photo resolution, or split the PDF. |
The content doesn't match the file | Its extension was renamed by hand (a .zip renamed to .pdf, say) | The platform looks at the real content, not the name. Upload the original file. |
The storage limit would be exceeded | Your plan hit its ceiling | Delete files you no longer need, or upgrade. |
Too many uploads | You are uploading too fast (more than 30 per minute) | Wait a moment. |
Who can upload and delete?
Whoever can edit clients: the owner, and agents with that permission. Everyone else sees the files and can download them, but will not see the upload or delete buttons.
