Plans and billing
The Free plan and the differences between Basic, Gold and Premium, and how billing works.
Start free and card-free on the Free plan, or jump straight into a paid plan: nothing is charged for its first 30 days. Subscriptions are handled with Stripe: you can switch plans or cancel anytime from Billing.
The Free plan
The Free plan ($0, no card) is the way in: you create loans and collect without paying anything and upgrade as you grow. Unlike the paid plans, it does have caps: 8 clients, 4 active loans, 4 active services, no agents and no file storage, and it does not include the Accounting or Audit panels. It doesn't go through Stripe checkout: it's activated when you create your account.
What each plan includes
On the paid plans, clients, loans and services are unlimited. What changes is the number of agents, the storage and the available modules.

Monthly or yearly
Paying yearly is cheaper: the yearly price equals ten months, so you save two (a 17% discount on what you would pay month by month). You can switch between monthly and yearly at any time; Stripe prorates the difference.
Switching plans or cancelling
From Billing you open the Stripe portal, where you can upgrade or downgrade, update your card, download invoices or cancel. When you cancel you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
If you downgrade and have more agents than the new plan allows, the change still goes through and your current agents keep working: nobody loses access. What you cannot do is invite more until you are below the new plan's cap.
